Well, you're pretty sick and it's the first time I've been sick and we haven't been You and I have not had COVID, so this is the first time I've been six six since COVID. Yeah, it was bad. It wasn't great. And you know, our kids are both young adults, but they still they still need their mom. So everyone was a little out of sorts. But I'm feeling better. Our good friend Lisa reached out to us yesterday. She sent me a TikTok about this case, and I sent it to you because I was flabbergasted, and you feverishly researched it and decided to release an episode. Yeah, it's an interesting one and it's a very very recent current events case, which we don't normally do. But I thought it was interesting enough that I think you guys are going to be really interested too. Yeah, because I

Always you don't realize I have like this radar when there's like some really good treat around, I just know, well, like treats are limited here. I mean we you know, our kids always yell at me because I'm They're like, you have too many treats in the house. You have our sweet listener friend Jenna to thank for that. Jenna, I was probably a month ago, said hey, you should get these for rich Aten. What are they exactly? Yeah, they are Reese's peanut Butter Sandwich cookie. So Reese's peanut butter swirl packed between two chocolate wafers. It just looks like it looks like a like an ice cream sandwich with peanut butter ice cream. Thanks Jenna for looking out for I know he Yeah, as soon as I saw Jenna's suggested that, I was like, yeah, rich loves peanut butter and loves peanut butter ice cream. So yeah, no brainer, All right, let's try it. You know, the only thing that would have made that better would be if there was like chocolate sauce drizzled over it. Well, you could easily do that, right, No, it was. It was good.

And Jenna lives in Australia, so I was kind of surprised that we, you know, have the same snack. Yeah. ESA's is everywhere, I guess, Yeah, but yeah I would, I don't. I'm not the biggest peanut butter I love peanut butter, but I don't like peanut but our ice cream. I thought that was really good though, So definitely maybe we should we should have a rating system. We should so should it be from one to ten? Are we recording this right? Yeah? Yeah, one to ten? Right? So what do you read that? Ten out of ten? Ten out of ten. I'd give it eight out of ten, all right, ebe a night out of ten? It was? It was really good. Okay, on with the case. Okay, Well, as we mentioned at the top of the episode, this is a developing story, very recent. It's about the death of a thirty year old woman from South Carolina named Micah Miller, who was married to John Paul Miller, who is a controversial pastor in Myrtle Beach. Super recent. Her body was found on April twenty seventh, twenty twenty four, just a week ago, and her funeral is actually today. Because of how recent this is, I want to make sure I give a strong disclaimer before we get into it, because there's been there's a lot of TikTok videos, a lot of YouTube videos, and there's a lot of speculation and rumor out there. We're going to try our best to stick to known facts, which are honestly a little sparse at the moment. I will get into some of the online rumors and speculation, but I want to try to stick to information

4:15 that is at least reputable or plausible, and try to be clear on what we know versus what speculation, because a lot of people are really feeding into a lot of theories that have no basis right now in reality, and we just don't know what happened. So hopefully the full story will come out over time and we'll provide an update but for today we'll share what we know and also just a warning before we get into it that this case we'll talk about suicide, so listen with care. So part of the reason this story has generated so much buzz is because of the way the news broke about Micah's death. On Sunday, April twenty eighth, Pastor John Paul or JP as he's also called Miller, gave a sermon as usual at his hard Rock church in Myrtle Beach. At the end of the sermon, he shared the news to his congregation. Here's a clip that I'm going to play of just about the last minute or so of his sermon, followed by his announcement regarding his wife Micah, and your relative says God, this is amazing. Why would you do this for me? And God says, I love you, But I didn't do this for you. You see, three hundred years ago, you're great great great great great great great great great great great great great great grandparents.

5:31 We're listening to this tall, charming, humble pastor, and he told them that they'll give their life to Christ, that God won't just take care of them, They'll take care of the wanted to come after him and so I love you, but I didn't heal you for your sake. I did it because a promise I made to them three hundred years ago. That's what I want you to leave here with Kay's amen. We're not gonna do an alter call today. Instead, instead, i'm gonna have you stand up and I'm gonna make an announcement. And after the announcement, I'm gonna ask that you you leave church quietly and and don't talk about the announcement here in the building. Please, if you can't seey'all can stand your feet before I make the announcement. I also want to say that my request to you is that you will continue to come to church and serve and give for the next you know a little bit, because I don't want to have I'm taking a little bit of a break and I don't want to have to worry about the church my break. Maybe a few days, a few weeks, I don't know.

6:43 I got a call late last night. My wife has passed away. And yeah, and it was it was self induced and it was up in North Carolina. And we're gonna have a funeral for her next Sunday here at three p m. And so it's all I can. Yeah, I'm just kind of going on adrenaline right now. So y'all pray for me and my kids and everybody. And she was she wasn't y'all knew that she wasn't well mentally, and then she needed medicine that was hard to get to her. And so I'm sure there'll be more details to come, but just keep our family in your prayers. And I'm gonna let Pastor Randall a bishop, Oh he can pray. I get a microphone and'll pray out. And if you have anything you want to share as well, I appreciate it, come on, lids pray. So we need to talk about this clip. First of all, I played the last minute of the sermon, which sounded a little out of place because I thought it was just that it was just such a bizarre situation. He went through his complete normal sermon. You heard there were some laughs there at the end of the sermon, and then all of a sudden, Oh, I got this call late last night that my wife died.

7:47 I mean, it's just bizarre, head spinning. I mean, mouths were a gape and one of the things that bothers me most about it when he's like, stand up, you're gonna get out of here. Don't talk about it. Don't talk about it. If your church is telling you not to talk about something or who to vote for or what to think, that's a huge red flag. Yeah. Well, and also telling everyone first of all, telling everyone it was quote self induced, and talking about how, oh you know she had mental health problems. Everyone knows. Yeah, like that is really something you should be talking about in front of your congregation. I mean, it hasn't even been twenty four hours since you've known. I mean, it's probably not even been twelve hours since allegedly he found out, and he's already just gaslighting. And it's super disturbing. Yeah, incredibly bizarre.

8:37 So, while he said that Micah died by suicide, it's important to note that the police and the medical examiner have not made that determination. The case is under investigation, and no manner of death has been determined at this point. The cause of death we know to be a gunshot wound, but we don't have any details beyond that it was a single gunshot wound. Right. There have been rumors online that there were multiple gunshots. There were rumors that it was a wound to the back of the head. But those are purely rumors. I have not heard any verification beyond it was a gunshot wound. Okay, So the rumors could some of the rumors could be true. Possible. Yeah, we also know that her body was found in Lumberton, North Carolina, which is about an hour and a half from Myrtle Beach.

9:22 In She was found in the lumber River State Park. Let's talk a little bit about John Paul Miller's background and Micah's background. I don't have a ton of information, but just kind of a brief overview. So John Paul Miller came from a religious family. His dad reginald Wayne Miller, not to be confused with the reginald Wayne Miller who played basketball for the Indiana Pacers. Well, I did a little research about the dad and I did come across that a little bit. Yeah, it was funny, the same name. He's a piece of work. Yeah, he was the founder of a Bible college. We'll talk more about him later because he's definitely an interesting character in this. John Paul spent his teenage years playing piano in churches as well as nightclubs, but according to his website, bio. He thought quote church was for fake people who were one way in public and another way behind closed doors unquote.

10:15 But then one day in his mid twenties, he gave his life to Jesus Christ. John Paul started his first church, Solid Rock Ministries, in two thousand and six. Micah Francis, originally from Wichita, Kansas, started attending the church when she was just fourteen or fifteen. John Paul was around thirty. He was married with five kids, and we've read that Micah used to babysit for him. At some point. We believe that Micah got married to someone else, and I was not able to find any information about that marriage, but she and John Paul at some point started a romantic relationship while they were each married to other people. In an interview that John Paul did with The Christian Post after Micah's death, he said that his relationship with Micah began with adultery. He said they were both married and cheated on their spouses, and many people left his church because of that, forcing them to start over, and that's so he started a new church. He and Micah got married in twenty seventeen, when she was twenty four. I saw some rumors that he had groomed her from a young teenager. I've seen those rumors as well, because she joined the church when she was fourteen or fifteen, and he was obviously much older. I think a lot of people are speculating about that. I have not seen anything that validates that, so I don't want to know say that without knowing for sure. Micah was very involved in the church. She led the women's ministry and the worship team at one of the locations of the Solid Rock Church. I said in the intro that John Paul

11:48 Miller was a controversial pastor. One of the reasons he's considered controversial is because of the affair with Micah while he was married, but also he's made a lot of comments during his sermons that are misogynistic at best. Here's a short montage that was put together by a TikTok user named Kelsey Campbell of a few recent comments that he's made in his sermons. The right words are not you hurt me. You hurt me, you hurt me. That's not the right words, like be more mature than that he feats. I think this verst is for the ladies because I've never had a man come to me and say, you know so and so hurt my feelings. I just need to tell you all about it. No one's ever no man's ever done that. You canna tell you everything you did. No man's ever done that. Men we either just don't talk about it, or we punch you in the face and then we're friends afterwards. Last year, you and my wife they went to Africa, had a wonderful trip, amazing trip, and she came back with the idea to start a school in Africa. And six weeks ago, as it goes to the hospital, gets out and just leaves, just completely leaves me, leaves everything, drains the bank account and goes. I guess what, while you're talking bad about me out there, I'm building a school in Africa for over one hundred kids to be able to be fed. I'm just doing that. It's always about what I'm preaching about. God is so good to do that every single time. One day I preached about getting rich, strong, healthy, and finding a hot wife that loves Jesus. That's what I'm gonna do. Weird, it's a really weird idea that most a lot of women have. It's so weird that women have this Christian women think where I need somebody to talk to about these people that hurt me. I need

13:20 somebody to talk to. Oh, you just want to talk about somebody else. That's a that's a demon. Actually right there. When my wife went in the hospital, you know, I looked at her phone and I counted over the past two years eighteen people who had text her and said, if you ever want to talk about your husband, you can talk to me and say anything, and I'll keep it confidentially. If you well, if you could go back in time and you would have said this, or if I see them again, I'm gonna say that. And it starts fixter. He gets bigger and bigger. By the time you're done, you want to shoot them with a bazooka. Right, And all I said was are those does you? Does you intentionally wear those shoes with that dress? All? Right? Get rid of you know. There's no words. I mean I've heard.

14:01 I think that's the clip that Lisa sent me. Yeah, and I why would anyone sit in his church to learn about God? Yeah, that's a good question. There should be no place in the church for him to complain about his marriage. Right, And it just seems, you know, he's just gaslighting her. And yeah, I really want to thank that the TikTok user Kelsey who put that together, because I a lot of his sermons are online and I started listening to some of them and it was just it was it was hard to get through. So I really appreciate this person actually going through and finding these clips because it really paints a picture that is not probably not too yeah, not too positive. So he wants his wife to not say anything about their marriage to anyone. Yeah, and going through her phone, she's she's in the hospital, which there are there have been rumors about whether he had her committed, whether you know, she went into the hospital on her own, but anyway, either way, he's looking at her phone while she's in the hospital, looking at her private conversations with her friends.

15:05 You know. Not cool. Oh, I incredibly disturbing. So there are a number of things leading up to Micah's death that have caused people to be suspicious of John Paul's suicide claims. First, Micah filed for divorce from JP in October of twenty twenty three. She later withdrew the filing in February. On April fifteenth, though less than two weeks before her death, she filed for divorce again and also sought a no contact order against her husband. This is according to her family, so we don't know for sure, but it sounds like they might have had a brief reconciliation during that period between October and February at some point. So again, she filed for divorce just two weeks before her death again, and I've also read that the divorce papers were actually served to Paul just two days before her death. And statistically, that is the most dangerous time for when and when they're trying to leave their abuser and move forward with their lives. It's been the abuser is most likely to fight back and do anything to keep them from leaving. Yeah, it's really sad, it is. In the weeks leading up to her death, Micah made some Facebook posts that hinted at some of what she was going through.

16:18 In one from March eighteenth, she talked about how crazy things have been, but she didn't get into specifics. But I want to play a short clip from that video. Hey everybody, I just want to let you know that I'm alive and well, and I've been kind of crazy a couple past weeks, months, years, But I've kind of had to keep my circle really small for the past couple of weeks just because I'm going through a lot and it's hard and it's my cross to bear. It's the thing that God has put in my life to deal with, and I don't want to bring a lot of people into it. I'm so thankful to God for a strong family and the friends that God has put in my life to be there for me at this time. A few days later, on March twenty second, she posted another video talking about abuse. Again, she didn't get into specifics of her own situation, but here's a clip from that video. So today my heart's a little heavy. I've had a lot of women that have reached out to me about situations of abuse, and I just want to tell you what a lot of people have told me lately and reminded me because I think I

17:48 forgot, I knew, but I've for I pushed it in the back of my head just because of my situation. But you are the bride of Christ before any anybody else's bride. Male or female, doesn't matter, it doesn't matter what gender. You are. Abuses abuse and you are the bride of Christ, and my Bible says that he took all the abuse you could think of for you so that you didn't have to live that life of slavery and bondage and pain. Jesus took it all for you so you don't have to stay in a abusive relationship, whether that's sexual, whether that's somebody forcing you to take illegal drugs, or alcohol abuse or physical abuse, psychological abuse making you think that this is all your fault, or you're a bad mom, or you're a bad why, or you're a bad husband, or you're not giving it, you're all when you know you are. God hates divorce.

19:11 But why? According to everybody I've asked and the scriptures that I've found, it's because it hurts people. But does abuse hurt people? How do you think God feels about that? So I want to remind you, like a bunch of people have been reminding me lately, that I'm God's pride first. Heartbreaking to hear those clips, you can just you know, she's not talking about herself directly, but you can tell that she's obviously speaking from her own experience. You can hear the pain in her voice and her words are so true. A lot of women do put their husbands first, and they put their church before their safety. Yeah, that's got to stop. Yeah, for sure. It's interesting to me the juxtaposition between the way she talks about her challenges and the way her husband talks openly in his you know, in front of his congregation about his marriage and about her, and she's being much more subtle about it and much I would say, much classier, right, and not for you know, not sharing some of that. But hard to listen to Micah finding her own voice, which those clips that you just played, it sounds like that's what she was doing even she was a young woman, she was thirty. She's figuring things out, she's finding her voice, her own voice, and that probably made him really uncomfortable. Yeah, it probably did. On April ninth, in her second to last Facebook post before

20:41 her death, she posted a picture of herself smiling, along with a somewhat cryptic message which said, quote when terrible, terrible, terrible things happened to you dot dot dot and then she said y'all know what I'm talking about in a winkie face, and then something that said resting peace face after that. So it's a little bit cryptic of what she meant by that, but that was from April ninth. We'll be back after a break. There was also a post on March seventeenth from Micah's sister, Sierra Francis that hinted at Micah's situation. Again, it's short on specifics, but it definitely gives the impression that Micah was in an unsafe situation due to her attempts to separate from JP and the church. I'm going to have you read what Sierra wrote. As I was sitting in church today, I received a text message. Usually I don't check my phone and I keep it on silent, but with everything going on with my sister Micah, I've made it a point to try to keep an eye on it for a fear of her safety due to others' behaviors towards her. To no surprise, it was a message about what was said from the pulpit today in Myrtle Beach at her church. I have so much sadness that someone could take the position that was given, hopefully given to them by God and use it for their own benefit, abusing God's gift of free will.

22:07 Please hear my heart when I say, if you attend that church, guard your heart and get in the Bible. The church is the people in God, not the pastor. When the pastor is married and he's on stage giving a sermon saying he's going to pray to God for a hot wife, that should raise a million red flags. When a pastor is on stage and a sermon saying he's going to wave to all his Facebook haters on his private plane on the way to Miami, that should raise a red flag. When the pastor is up there saying that he's angry at God for always making his sermons about what he's going through in his life, you should take that as a red flag. When the pastor is saying he shouldn't be up there preaching to you, you should hear what he's saying and take it seriously. I can only imagine how emotionally straining it is for Micah having somebody in a position of influence spreading lies about her to the entire congregation. And I commend my sister for standing tall and standing on God's word. So that post was from March seventeenth, over a month before Micah's death. So to me, I included that because it's interesting to note that there were challenges that her family were talking about you long before her death with her husband and with their separation.

23:26 Since her death, her family and friends have said that they don't believe Micah died by suicide. They're trying to ensure that there is a thorough investigation and are asking people not to believe everything they are reading online. Again, Micah's sister Sierra posted something the day after her death, and I'll have you read that as well. There was a lot of talk already going on. I want to set the record straight. Our sister, Micah Miller passed away yesterday. Please do not listen to false stories being shared about her. Micah was a god fearing, joyful, loving woman who did not deserve the abuse she endured. If you hear anything about this from anyone other than her family, please question it, reach out to her siblings or parents. Keep our family in your prayers, and if you have any information that needs to be shared, please contact one of us. Please respect us in this time and honor her memory with joy that she is no longer suffering. On May third, Micah's friend Angela Clark made a lengthy post about Micah's separation both from her husband and his church. I included this because it seems legitimate to me that Angela is a friend of Micah's and knows her. They're friends on Facebook, and she seemed to have a lot of information, so I think this is a very reputable post. So again, I'm going to have you read this post from her friend Angela. I will not sit here and pretend that I know exactly what happened on Saturday, but I know a lot. I'm well aware in the past that Micah had mental health issues, and I witnessed her struggle

25:00 firsthand. But I also know in the past few months this has been used as a weapon to control her. The Micah I saw at the beginning of her mental health journey was not the Micah I witnessed in the last month. The Micah I was seeing was a grown woman trying to break the chains of an abusive marriage. I was part of Micah's church for years. Leaving that church was one of the hardest things Brian and I ever did. We loved the people in that church, but God had made it clear that we needed to go because it was a toxic environment. We endured relentless attacks from the pastor. It was unlike anything we had ever experienced in ministry. God calls us where He needs us, and instead of supporting and loving us, our entire family came under attack. There were attempts to sabotage us in our new church home. Calls were made to employers, dropping in at my place of business in the middle of my workday when I refused to answer calls, calls, more than I can count, emails that were rants and writing. It was a nightmare for close to a month. Micah wasn't just leaving a church.

26:10 She was leaving her marriage. She was done, She hired a lawyer, she moved out, and she was getting a divorce. She was left with nothing but her faith and her family and her small circle of friends. Was a hard yes. She had her tires cut multiple times, found multiple trackers on her car, cow topped in fear of being found, and was hospitalized by her husband when it was completely unnecessary. I talked to her multiple times in her final week here on earth. She was making plans to get her haircut, getting help with her car payment because she was a little short after paying her divorce lawyer, and she was planning to meet us for the second service at church on Sunday. My final text with her on Friday at nine nineteen pm was a woman making plans to live what happened between Friday night and Saturday. Good question, Yeah, great question, and a lot of great information in there just about the situation that Micah was in. It just sounds it sounds really horrible. Another thing that caused some consternation among Micah's family and friends was her obituary, which was clearly written by JP. There are some nice things in there about Micah, but then he turns around and makes it all about him. So I'm going to read part of that obituary.

27:29 Micah was energetic, affirming, adventurous, faithful, loving, giving forgiving, talented, joyous, creative, assertive, bold, determined, authoritative, passionate, hardworking, a risk taker, and so much more. She and JP have been friends since two thousand and nine, married in twenty seventeen, and spent almost every single day and night together. Micah loved her little dog, Loki. She loved to be doing outdoor activities like waterfall repelling, hiking, sky diving, running, and going to the beach. Micah would take on any challenge, even if it was being vegan for an entire year. Micah was a great stepmother and an amazing wife and helpmate. She helped Pastor JP with the church in every way. Micah was the worship leader, graphics designer, youth leader, women's ministry leader, and pastor's assistant, and she did all of this with the utmost integrity and faithfulness. Micah made the greatest of efforts to always be the best wife she could be. She truly served Jesus and her husband with all her heart. She would praise her husband after every church service, telling him he was the best preacher in the world, even if it wasn't true. She also told him he was the funniest preacher in the world, even though that wasn't true either. I hate when murderous spouses are allowed to write the obituary. I know alleged murderers spouses. Yes, the obituary goes on from there to talk about how important her family was, but I wanted to read that part just because I thought it was just the

29:00 Yeah, it's very icky, the great way to describe it. People have also raised the question of if she did take her own life, why would she go to Lumberton, North Carolina to do that. She had no ties there, no family, no friends, no history that we know of. As one person online who claimed to be local to Myrtle Beach pointed out, there are plenty of nice wooded areas around Myrtle Beach if she was looking for a remote location. This person went on to speculate, quote, but the one thing, Robeson County, which is where Lumberton is located, does have an incredibly high crime rate. If someone wanted to harm Micah and leave her in an area inundated with homicide cases, a place where law enforcement might not dig too deeply into an apparent suicide, Robeson County might have been their best option, just saying end quote. Lumber River State Park seems like it's a very large park. I'm just going to read from their website here. Located in Columbus Robison, Scotland, and hok Counties, sixty miles south of Fayetteville, lumber River State Park has two access areas located about one hour from each other, Princess Anne and Chalk Banks. Possibilities for paddling on this eleven I'm sorry, one hundred and fifteen mile river are extraordinary and abundance of wildlife and plant life, including the belted kingfisher and rare Carolina bogmint, helped Lumber River earn federal distinction as a National Wild and Scenic River, the only blackwater river

30:33 in the state to have that honor. So it's a huge park. I mean, yeah, if your entrances are an hour from each other, So there is a vast We don't know where her body was found exactly, if it was in the woods or if it was just possibly in a vehicle, right, and we don't even know how long between the time she died and the time her body was found either. So yeah, there's a lot of questions. Still, no one had reported her missing, correct, Not that I've heard just a few minutes talking about some of the things I've seen online that fall more into the rumor and speculation category but are still potentially relevant to this case. First, I've read that John Paul had several criminal charges filed against him, including assault in battery. That may be true, but I have not been able to confirm that. Second, there are many claims that John Paul was known to have affairs, and that in particular, there is one woman named Susie Skinner, who is involved in the church, and that he has allegedly been having an affair with for a long time. Her husband, Chris Skinner, was a paraplegic who died in twenty twenty one in what was ruled an accidental drowning in a community swimming pool. Again, there's a lot of online speculation, people talking about this as being suspicious, but we don't know anything more about his death. There's no reason to think that it was anything suspicious. Just a couple of days after Micah's death, John Paul was photographed with Susie out on the town looking like they were having a great time. We'll post one of those pictures on our social media, but to

32:04 be fair, they could just be a couple of friends going out for drinks too. Absolutely, and actually, for her part, she issued a statement about their quote unquote date and about Micah, claiming that it was suicide. So I want to have you read her statement in full. He's my friend. His wife passed away four days ago and he had no one to eat with. He asked a bunch of people to sit with him and no one could go. So when he asked if I could go, I went. We've been friends for years. It wasn't a date. People also said he murdered his wife, but we believe she called the police before she did it, saying that she bought a gun and was going to kill herself and wanted to make sure they could ping her phone so her family could find the body.

32:50 This is from the nurse at the hospital. Then she did it. She's attempted suicide before. She's schizophrenic, bipolar, and has dependent personnel disorder. She took herself off her meds starting in December, against her doctor's orders and against JP's wishes, and even texted her family telling them she was doing it. This is the longest she's been off her lithium since she was diagnosed in twenty seventeen. A few weeks ago, she threw a belt out of the car while driving on the highway because she thought it was a serpent. She was playing chess by herself recently and talking to herself. When they asked her what she was doing, she said, playing chess with the demon. She was very, no extremely mentally ill, and the people posting this stuff on social media haven't spoken to her or JP in years. They were part of his first church that ended in twenty fifteen, so none of it is what people are making it out to look like. So I have not seen Micah's family directly respond to that quote, but I think they would say, don't believe what she's saying here, don't believe what she's reading. But I did want to include it because it is, you know, kind of the other side of the equation. Even if Micah had mental health problems, there is no reason to believe that she would have taken her own life. Yeah, and I have questions about that quote from Susie as well, because, well, first of all, if what she's saying is true about Micah calling the police before she ended her life, that should make for a pretty quick

34:22 investigation. If police got that call and they have that recording, you would think that they would have already been able to rule her death a suicide. Good point. The other thing that I thought was interesting about that quote is that if this woman is just friends with JP, as she claims, how does she know so much about Micah's mental health, her status of taking prescriptions, and these alleged incidents she's talking about. I mean, those are very personal things. I mean they could have been good friends and she could have. I'm not not defending them, but that he could have confided in her, although he forbid Micah from confiding in a friend, right. Yeah. Ugh, So we promised near the beginning we would talk about JP's dad, who is an interesting character. And you've done some research on that a little bit. Yeah. In twenty fourteen, Reginald Wayne Miller, who went by Wayne John Paul's father, was indicted on fork colony counts of forced labor and two misdemeanor counts of failure to pay minimum wage. He was once thought to be a bright light in the South Carolina religious community and a charismatic leader known for speaking in tongues prophecy, and faith healing. Reginald Miller is the president and founder of the former Cathedral Bible College, now known as All Nations Bible College and Seminary. The college changed its name after several scandals involving Miller.

35:45 The college once had two campuses, one in Myrtle Beach and the other in Marion, but now there is only one campus located in Columbia. So he took these international students in and forced them to work for him as servants or slaves. They worked as many as forty hours a week at as personal residents or at the college for as little as twenty five dollars a week. Federal law limits students here on visas to a maximum of twenty hours a week, and their work is supposed to be in their field of study. As many as eight students were exploited. The case was investigated by the US Homeland Security Department, and the investigation also found that the student's housing lacked hot water, air conditioning, and heat, and they were given substandard food that was often expired or sparse, and they weren't given enough money really to be themselves, that is insane. The investigation by the Homeland Department found that the college misrepresented its education its ability to educate these students. According to some news, the students said the college classes were quote not real, and their soul purpose was to work for Miller. He pleaded guilty to four felony charges and to misdemeanors and did some time in jail. Miller had previously ran a K through twelve school, a Christian school, which ultimately closed. He previously hosted a television

37:15 show called Good Morning Jesus that was seen in as many as sixteen states. His first wife divorced him after two parishioners claimed that he made unwanted sexual advances towards their husbands, and several college students also alleged that he made inappropriate advances towards them. In two thousand and six, Miller was charged with prostitution and lewdness after he exposed himself to an undercover officer at a bathhouse in Myrtle Beach. The charge was expunged from his record, and he completed some sort of treatment program. Miller was accused again of inappropriate sexual behavior when he traveled to Pakistan in twenty twenty two. His host pastored man did he leave after he was found to be having a sexual relationship with a Pakistani man. Wow, And there's again with like the rumors and speculation. The man who was hosting him, he died and it's kind of speculated that maybe Miller had something to do with it. But he was also an old a pretty old man.

38:22 Yeah, so definitely some weird stuff there. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, as they say. Yeah, So that is about all the information we have at this point on this case. As we mentioned, this is obviously very current. There's going to be developments, you know, over the next short term. We'll try to provide updates to it. But I guess for now, based on what you've heard so far, what do you think happened to Micah? I really don't know. I know that John Paul is a piece of garbage, that he's a horrible man, was a horrible husband, has no right to be telling people how to live there lives. But I there's just not enough information at this point. Yeah, obviously something feel it feels weird, it feels icky. Yeah, I mean, I think we're just going to have to be patient and see how it plays out.

39:13 Yeah. I think the facts will come out over time, and there's a lot of attention on this now. There's a lot of people talking about the case. I think that will help to move things forward well, justice for Micah if necessary. I think a lot of people are scared that this is going to be swept under the rug, especially with the jurisdictional differences between North Carolina and South Carolina. Sometimes those it's a great point, are hard to reconcile. And as you said, the Lumberton area has a higher rate of crime and they might want to solve it quicker. But if people keep putting pressure on them, I think they're more likely to investigate it thoroughly. Yeah, and there is speaking of justice for Micah. There is a hashtag on Facebook if you want to get more information. There's a lot of people posting on there. Some people are friends or fa family that are posting, so it's a good good one to follow if you're on Facebook. But either way, you know, rest in peace Micah. I hope that we're able to get to the truth, whatever it is, regardless of what happened, and that there can be justice and closure for her family. Well, happy Sinco to Mayo. It's like a New York style deli in Michigan with I don't know what you pay for a sandwich in New York, but Singerman's a sandwich is I mean twenty bucks easily. It's been a while. We haven't gotten another mortgage on to save the money. We haven't gone in a while. But they do this fish and chips thing every once in a while. It's like, I don't know how well, a couple of times a year. Yeah, And it happened to land on Sinko to Mayo and I mean it's a it's so it's amazing.
